Cycling
Finally, my promos are over!!! I have never felt so happy for such a long time...all those weeks of mugging, stressing and memorizing have finally came to an end. As soon as it ended yesterday, i had many things on my mind: playing my computer games, blogging, watching those LOST tape-recorded shows, sleeping.... but i ended up cycling...haha.

As i typed on the laptop right this moment, my aching legs (and butt..lol) are a constant reminder of the 3.5 hours of riding my bike along East Coast Park. Cycling with me was Hilary, whom i known during Tao Nan camp. Haha...it was actually intended for night cycling, but we ended up cycling during the late afternoon. Boy, it was fun!

We first began at McDonald's area and headed east. It was really enjoyable, as the weather was so windy (you can say chilly..haha). As we cycled, the both of us chatted about loads of stuff...from promos to JC life to secondary school life to camp to movies....It certainly was fun! Hilary certainly talked much (thankfully...as i believe i'm rather quiet... lolz).

There was a wakeboarding scene halfway through our trip, and that was certainly so cool (...maybe i should learn wakeboarding someday..haha) We managed to cycle to bedok jetty and even posed for a few photos...haha...her idea. Then it began to rain. OMG...it was certainly one of the few times i cycled in the rain, and as it got heavier, we seeked shelter. There, we chatted on...she found out about the Mr. Noodle and Miss Spaghetti incident and a bit about the Average-walkers, while i got to know about her school song and a bit about Boston. =P

As soon as the rain stopped, and we got a little drier, we continued. My bike began to make those creaking sounds and i had a weird feeling that my bike will break down. We continued on until we saw this tall structure which was surrounded by flowers. Hil. wanted to reach the top, but it was locked and i told her she could try climbing to the top. LOL. Anyway, we continued further and began gossiping about the kids in camp Hutan and the camp chief(Francis) and even her brother.

Soon, it was about 6:30 when we reach the end (Changi Chalet..is it?) By then, we had even passed by the National Sailing Centre..or whatever it was. Hil. had wanted to go to Parkway, but the trip back took so long...and i bet we were exhausted (or maybe it's just me..lol). Halfway back, we saw a street performance at lagoon food centre...some hula-hoop performance. We stopped by at 7-11 to buy a drink...then i accompanied her further on till we reached the route near her home. By then, it was 8:20pm and i was practically using my last ounce of energy to race back home to have my dinner..lol...

Anyway, this cycling trip was certainly the longest, yet most interesting trip i had...haha. Sorry that u were unable to buy that gift...but the cycling trip was fun...isn't it? Haha...Hope to cycle with you again...if i can first try to persuade my dad to buy me a new bike..lol..
