Internship-Aftermath
After 3 weeks of waking up early...
After 3 weeks of standing like packed sardines in the MRT... After 3 weeks of not doing any homework... Its' Finally OVER!!!!! Sayonara Internship!!!! Actually, come to think of it, I feel rather emo about it, not because i derive pleasure in torturing myself through countless days of waking up early, but rather the close bonds i have made with my mentors as well as the exhibits. (I'm SERIOUS about the latter!) I remembered on the last day, everyone made an effort to touch some of the exhibits for the last time, and we even joked on how our mentors would hide in the toilet and bawl for the loss of us interns. Man, come to think about it, I'm starting to get real emo....dam....(listening to Robbie Williams-Feel...) Anyway, the aftermath of internship has been relatively filled with activities. On Friday night, i got my first opportunity to try out my new bike. Man, that was certainly a blast, as this new bike is super-duper cool (and not squeaky too..Ahaha). Just 24 hours ago, my family and i went to the Marina Bay Seafood centre(2 in 1 BBQ Buffet)! Spending $52, we gorged ourselves to our hearts content, ranging from fried chicken wing, sumptuous soft-shell crab meat, crunchy fried wanton, spicy black pepper chicken slices, fresh prawns, clams, mussels, squid and cool red-bean ice-cream. By the time i reached home, I had a stomachache...so much for binging impulsively. Anyway, today my family and i first visited my grandfather at Eunos, and we had a quick meal with several updates on what's happening to my relatives. Then we headed out to Vivocity, as it was a long time since i last went out with my family. Man, that was Happening! There were score of people, and such a plethora of shops and accessories. There was even some bike stunts organized by the Animal Bike gang (strictly not animals-duh)located outside the shopping centre. The Christmas season is definitely approaching, as the warning chimes of "Merry Christmas" threatened to blow off the minds of the faint-hearted. Man, personally...the arrival of Christmas could only mean one thing... ....MY HOLIDAYS ARE ENDING!!!! but my homework isn't... Save me... T_T Labels: internship aftermath |
