Pre-Christmas blues
"...2 days to Christmas...4 days to December street camp....8 days to the end of 2007...

Status quo: Homework barely done, revision has not begun..."

Man, I'm so toast by the way it looks... In 2 weeks, school will begin and another year of boring and un-inspiring work load will begin...or so it seems... sigh...sometimes I really think I'm the biggest complainer in the world... I should start looking for some inspiration and motivation ....before the enormity of A levels hit me... so hard that i may just drop dead...for good...

Anyway, for the past 2 days, I have been out and about, going out...enjoying what little time remains...This Christmas weekend is definitely a wet one, with the constant rain and wind as close accomplices. Yesterday, on the demanding request of my fellow classmate, Cheng Ying, I attended a church concert at the Suntec City Auditorium. Actually, I was reluctant to go, as my mum was against me going there. But against or not...I entered the Audi...

Well, it certainly was a sight not to forget. Firstly, there was the people, and boy, it was like thousands of them...all eager to have fun. Never mind the crowd, the moment the emcee began warming up, the crowd became boisterous. Christmas carols were sung, and everyone was singing and (clapping) with passion and might, except me...Wait, I'm not trying to be a spoilt brat or something...but something deep in my mind told me to be neutral about this...so i just clapped politely after the end of each song. After all the gusto, the concert began to my relief. (I wasn't sure if I could stand another minute of the deafening sound) Frankly, the concert was good but i left halfway...to watch "The Golden Compass" with my sister. Haha! That was one movie i wanted to watch since November, as I used to read the story when I was young. Lolz...I SO love the story...the CGI effects are great, the characters are special, and the storyline was well-written. Apart from the ending which was a little abrupt, (due to it being the first of a trilogy series), the movie was satisfying overall, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If everything in life was a movie.....

As for today, the entire family brought 2 special people out for an outing at Vivocity. That's right, they can be said as family- at least for a certain time 2 years back. Still not sure who? Well you ought not to know...

They are of course the girl whom my mum babysitted for close to a year, and her brother. Named Chloe and Conrad respectively, they were certainly lovely! Haha...despite the earlier unfamiliarity, (because we didn't meet for close to a year), we managed to bring them to eat at Mac's, buy them gifts at Toys'rus and buy chocolates at Candy Empire. It was certainly tiring for everyone, but it was so heartening to see the smiles on their faces as we bought them Christmas gifts...makes me feel like Santa Claus...haha....

Well, as i mentioned earlier, the holidays are ending and so are the days left of my freedom...Man, I really wish I could do much more than what I'm doing now...there are certainly so many things that are still yet to be accomplished (listening to "Same Old Brand New You-A1") and with so much stuff to revise...2008 will certainly be a hectic and draining year for me...

Yet, one has to feel optimistic...birthday in approximately one month's time (yay!)... and many more days to prove my worth and accomplishments...hopely I can accompish something before NS... I still cant imagine myself being botak....||-_-

How self-rhetorical... life's a swing...
