Burned!
Hmm...a pretty short post for today...cos i doubt i will update this blog for quite a while...

Today, I went to the temple near Paya Lebar. Hmm, it was something like returning Tai Sui at "Lorong Koo Chye Sheng Hong Temple Association" or something...Well, basically, the year of the rat this year spells not-so-good times for all Horse people. So, in order to pray for peace and safety, I was bundled out of the comforts of home and taken to the sweltering heat of incense smoke and huge crowds of devotees.

3 hours of waiting for a long, long, long queue.(I mean it! Like a few hundred people long) :(

Sweating like crazy....NO FANS!!! :(

Skipped my lunch... no joke! Empty stomachs don't make me a happy person...

Worse of all...halfway through the process...I was "poked" by a burning joss stick! ARGHH!!! Well...I was placing my joss sticks into the urn...and then there was this girl around ten years old who appeared out of nowhere...actually, i saw her joss stick before i saw her...then the intense pain of a burning needle jabbed into the side of my left arm...WAHHH!!! I nearly want to scream la...but god knows why I didn't...in the end...the girl just gave me that innocent look...placed the joss sticks hurriedly and left...I was stunned for a moment...before I realized that a gradual swell was appearing on my arm... Right now, I can see a black dot the size of needlehead on my arm...still hurting la....

Basically, I was pretty fed-up throughout the rest of the trip...but was momentarily cheered up by KFC...guess yummy food still wins the deal huh?
